Commercial Real Estate Agent

HUNT Commercial Real Estate is seeking enthusiastic individuals eager to take control of their future and capitalize on their true potential. You will be assisting landlords, tenants, investors, property owners and corporations in disposing, leasing and acquiring commercial real estate within any given market. You will become a specialist in one or more of the following disciplines: office, warehouse/manufacturing, retail, investment properties, hospitality, medical.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with all users involved in commercial real estate, including but not limited to owners, buyers, developers, real estate attorneys, appraisers, economic development agencies, environmental companies, property managers and local trade organizations.
  • Provide guidance to buyers and sellers in their acquisition or disposition of commercial real estate utilizing market research, demographic studies, financial analysis and current and past market trends.
  • Provide sound analytical recommendations based on current market conditions, lending environment and stability of the commercial real estate market.
  • Prepare and provide proposals, letters of intent and requests for proposals that detail the financial structure and business legal structure of a contemplated transaction.
  • Provide a working knowledge of commercial real estate contracts, amendments, options, leases, etc. in order to evaluate terms and conditions.
  • Mediate and negotiate on behalf of all commercial real estate users, ensuring the best outcome for your client.

Requirements:

  • New York State Real Estate License
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical background and/or education
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a strong aptitude in high-level negotiation
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • College degree
